Sunday, July 4, 2010 diminutive Seeing my nephews draw such strange little cartoon characters really brings me back to the day. I had to book where I used to doodle all of these imaginary pokemon-like beings in, and by the side, I'd note down what powers and weaknesses they had, haha. How I miss being a kid, don't we all? I really like family gatherings, though I may not speak much and I don't involve myself in many of the conversations, it provides this homey warm atmosphere where you just feel like you're part of something special. It eliminates the "lonely" factor. The sound of chitter chatter going in your living room really sparks something off. I don't know if it's just me, but I like having people over in the house, it's a nice feeling. Heh asking my mum not to shout is like asking D (my dog) to stop barking at motorcycles. My mum's voice is a natural boomer. It's like there's a sub-woofer in her throat haha. She screams at the slightest provocations, sometimes I can't help but think if it was my temper that was passed on to her. Come to think of it, it's been awhile since I last lost control of my temper. Oh well, after years and years of being subdued to the screaming and shouting, I think my ear drums have been seasoned to negate unwanted noises. Heh maybe being a drummer helps too eh?
